After receiving a commitment from a pair of blue-chip prospects in the last few days Alex Donno of All Hurricanes examined “How Much Momentum Can The Miami Hurricanes Build In Recruiting?” Susan Miller Degan of the Miami Herald wrote Xavier Restrepo and Tyler Van Dyke speaking to youth football players.

The Miami Hurricanes football program will attempt to build momentum after receiving commitments from five-star athlete Joshisa Trader on Thursday and four-star defensive lineman Artavius Jones on Friday. Donno expects Trader to help Miami recruit other prospects in the 2024 class.

Miller Degnan wrote “Miami’s Restrepo, joined by QB Van Dyke, heads up the road to impart wisdom to youth.” Restrepo conducted a youth football camp at the Monarch High School football field in Coconut Creek per Miller Degnan. Restrepo said he wants to be inspiring to the youth who attended his camp for free.

David Lake of Inside the U tookA look at how Miami is one of the best in the ACC at three key position groups.”  Lake wrote, “Miami is strong (on paper) at quarterback, offensive line, and defensive line–and that is a reason for optimism in 2023.” Miami has rebuilt its offensive and defensive lines during the 2023 offseason.

It would be interesting to see how the Oregon fan base reacts when Cristobal produces results.

Miami football legends Michael Irvin with the Dallas Cowboys and Andre Johnson with the Houston Texas were named by For the Win among “The best wide receiver in franchise history for all 32 NFL teams. Irvin in is the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Johnson likely will be someday.
