Miami football career passing leader No. 3: Jacory Harris
- 8,826 passing yards
- 70 passing touchdowns
- 48 interceptions
Jacory Harris was a true boom-or-bust quarterback option for Miami during the late-2000s, and that led to some wild passing totals. Being given the ball as a freshman and leading the Hurricanes for his entire collegiate career certainly had a hand in that.
On one hand, you had two seasons from Harris where the Canes signal-caller had at least 20 passing touchdowns, undeniably the mark of a successful season for a quarterback at any level. On the flip side, Harris had two seasons in which he threw more interceptions than he had games played.
The QB wasn’t a match in the NFL, but he did play several seasons in the CFL. Regardless of the ups and downs Harris’ Hurricanes experienced, Coral Gables has a place in its heart for the big-armed Miami native.
