After a day off on Thursday, the Miami Hurricanes football team resumes practice on Friday. Adam Gorney the Rivals.com National Recruiting Director named Miami as one of the “10 programs that stood out in July” in recruiting. The Miami basketball game will play the first of two games in Paris on Friday afternoon Eastern time.

Head coach Mario Cristobal and six players made available to the media had videos posted to the official Miami Hurricanes All Access YouTube page on Tuesday and Wednesday. Players discussed the newcomers to Miami and adapting to new offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry.

Expect more of the same on Friday. The continued installs of Dawson’s and Guidry’s systems and how well the Miami players adapt will be a frequent theme throughout training camp. The response from Miami players has been positive learning from Dawson and Guidry through the first two practices.

Gorney praised the four commitments the Miami Hurricanes received in July. Gorney particularly stated that the commitment from five-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader was “absolutely huge.” Four-star defensive end Marquis Lightfoot was also singled out as a key commitment for Miami from Gorney.
