Miami football target Aydin Breland the sixth-ranked 2024 defensive lineman, is trending elsewhere before his Saturday commitment announcement. Breland’s commitment announcement is at 2:30 PM ET on Saturday on the 247 Sports YouTube channel. Kipp Adams of Dawgs 247 logged a crystal ball for Breland to Georgia.

Oregon has a 51.1 percent chance for a Breland commitment per his on3 profile. Georgia has a 39.4 percent chance for a commitment and Miami is at 2.1 percent per on3. In addition to being the sixth-ranked DL, Breland is the 38th overall prospect and third recruit in California out of Santa Ana Mater Dei in the 2024 class.

Breland would be a cornerstone prospect in the 2024 Miami football class. Miami currently has commitments from four-star DL prospects Artavius Jones, Marquis Lightfoot and Elias Rudolph and three-star Daylen Russell. Breland told Greg Biggins of 247 Sports he still hasn’t made a decision.

Breland likes Georgia for their history of developing DL, Miami for the relationship he has with Mario Cristobal and Oregon for a combination of the two. Cristobal was the first coach to offer Breland when he was at Oregon. Breland will make his announcement on Saturday ahead of Washington hosting Oregon.

ESPN Gameday will be in Seattle. Miami at North Carolina will also have a national focus as the ABC Primetime game of the week. Defensive line coaches Joe Salavea as the primary and Jason Taylor as the secondary have been the Miami recruiters for Breland. Georgia, Miami, Oregon and Texas A&M received official visits from Breland.
