Miami Hurricanes News: FB NC St prep, baseball schedule released
The Miami Hurricanes football team continued to prepare to play at North Carolina State on Saturday. The Miami baseball team announced its schedule on Wednesday. Christopher Stock of Inside the U wrote about the competition between the Miami RBs and Greg Smith of Rivals named the Hurricanes’ October recruiting winners.
The Miami Hurricanes football team will bring a 6-2 record into its game on Saturday at 5-3 North Carolina State. Miami has a two-game winning streak but will be playing its first road game in three weeks and only its third of the season. November should be the most challenging month for Miami.
Miami will play consecutive road games for the first time this season when it is at Florida State on November 11. Louisville comes to Hard Rock Stadium on November 18. The games against the Seminoles and Cardinals will likely be the first time this season Miami plays consecutive games versus ranked teams.
Stocked stated the Miami Hurricanes “Running backs in a competitive battle for playing time (with) A look at the Miami Hurricanes rushing attack heading into the game at NC State on Saturday. Miami has rotated Ajay Allen, Don Chaney Jr., true freshman Mark Fletcher and Henry Parrish at RB throughout the 2023 season.
The Miami baseball team will open the season with a four-game series versus NJIT. That is the first of 16 consecutive games at home to begin 2024. The Miami baseball also hosts Central Florida, Long Island and Florida Gulf Coast in February. Games versus Stonehill and Florida concluded the season-opening homestand.
The Miami basketball team is a finalist for five-star power forward Nic Codie with Auburn, Houston, LSU, Texas, TCU and Virginia Tech ahead of his announcement at 5:30 PM ET on Tuesday. Houston is projected with a 79.2 percent chance for a commitment from Codie. TCU is second with a 6.3 percent chance for a commitment.
