The Miami football team will attempt to win its third consecutive game at North Carolina State on Saturday night. Miami defeated Clemson in double overtime two weeks ago and Virginia last week. North Carolina State is coming off of a win over Clemson last Saturday. Miami is attempting to win its first 2023 ACC road game.

Miami lost its only ACC road game this season 41-31 at North Carolina four weeks ago. Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke threw two interceptions in the loss at North Carolina. Miami was 3-1 on the road in the ACC in 2022. Miami plays at North Carolina State, Florida State and Boston College this month.

Miami leads the all-time series 11-5-1 versus North Carolina State and is 4-1 in Raleigh. North Carolina State has won 16 of its last 19 games at home. The Wolfpack enters the game on Saturday alternating wins and losses over their past five games. Louisville won 13-10 at North Carolina State in September.

Miami won the two most recent games versus North Carolina State, 21-20 over the 18th-ranked Wolfpack in Miami in 2021 and 44-41 in Raleigh in 2020. Van Dyke had 325 yards and four touchdown passes in the 2021 win. NC State is ninth in the ACC allowing 227.1 passing yards per game.
