Cohen is projected as the 145th player in the NFL Mock Draft Database Big Board. Pro Football Focus lists Cohen as the fifth-best guard in the 2023 NFL Draft. Cohen has started every game for the 2023 Miami football team at left guard. Before Miami, Cohen earned 2022 second-team All-ACC at Alabama.

Cohen started 24 games for Alabama in 2021 and 2022. The SEC named Cohen to its All-Freshman team in 2020. NFL Draft Buzz praised Cohen for his quickness. Cohen showed his athleticism earlier this year with a key block downfield on the game-winning touchdown run by Mark Fletcher.

Miami left tackle Jalen Rivers has a hard decision to make as a fourth-year redshirt sophomore. Rivers has been a three-year starter for Miami. Dealing with injuries throughout his career, Rivers could decide to return to Miami for at least the 2024 season to improve his NFL Draft stock.

Rivers also has the option of entering the NFL Draft and if he is not chosen, try to sign with an NFL team as an undrafted free agent. Unless he significantly improves his draft stock, the NFL Draft projections indicate Rivers would be far better off returning to the Miami football program for the 2024 season.
