The Miami football team will attempt to end a three-game losing streak when they play at Boston College on Friday afternoon. Boston College enters the game on Friday with losses in their last two games following a five-game winning streak. The Eagles and Hurricanes are both 6-5 entering the final regular season game.

The Miami football team is playing at Boston College for the third consecutive time in the series. Boston College defeated Miami 27-14 in 2018. Miami won 41-32 in 2012. Boston College has won three of the last four games versus Miami. The Hurricanes lead the all-time series versus the Eagles 24-6.

Tyler Van Dyke is potentially playing his last game for Miami. Asked if he will play in the bowl game or plans to play for Miami next season, Van Dyke was non-committal. After initially getting benched for the Florida State game, the speculation has been that Van Dyke will enter the 2024 NFL Draft or enter the transfer portal.

Van Dyke was 24-39 for 327 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in his best performance in two months last week. Boston College QB Thomas Castellanos is a dual threat who is fifth in the ACC with 827 yards rushing. Castellanos is last in the ACC among qualified passers completing 56.8 percent of his attempts.
