Miami football 2024 NFL Draft early entrants and transfer roster tracker
The Miami football program has lost five players to the transfer portal and three to the NFL Draft. Players can officially enter the transfer portal from Monday, December 4, 2023, to Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in the fall window. Eligible players have until January 15 to enter the 2024 NFL Draft as early entrants.
Several former Miami starters who lost their jobs during the 2023 season are among the Hurricanes who chose to transfer to other schools. The 2024 Miami signing class has 27 committed players. Miami currently has the fifth-ranked 2024 class. Expect Miami to be active in the transfer portal.
Miami will also lose several seniors who have completed their college eligibility. Expect Miami to be active in the transfer portal at quarterback, on the offensive and defensive lines and safety. Linebacker and tight end are other positions to watch. Miami specifically needs to fill holes at QB and safety.
The 2024 Miami class is exceptional on the defensive line and WR. Freshman defensive tackles Justin Scott and Artavius Jones, edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot and WRs Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and Joshisa Trader are freshmen who can contribute to the Miami football team in 2024.

When spring practice concludes there is another window for players to enter the transfer portal from Football – Spring Window Tuesday, April 16, 2024, through Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
