Heron who was not even listed as a prospect out of high school by the national recruiting sites, is the 72nd overall transfer and fifth-ranked offensive tackle in the 2024 portal class. Heron is 6’6, 310 pounds out of Banneker High School in Atlanta. Not much information is available about Heron.

Cyrus Allen had a breakout sophomore season for Louisiana Tech with 46 receptions for 778 yards and four touchdowns. Conference USA named Allen honorable mention All-Conference. As a freshman, Allen had 22 receptions for 500 yards and four TDs. Allen has played 21 games with 17 starts in two seasons at Louisiana Tech.

Jabari Brooks is a 6-3 and 335-pound interior offensive lineman who is transferring from FCS Samford. Brooks was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. Brooks was one of two Samford offensive linemen named second-team All-Southern Conference. Brooks was named to the 2021 All-Southern Conference Freshman team.

After redshirting as a freshman in 2022, Mackey had a breakout season in 2023 with 84 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery and one touchdown. Somehow Mackey missed out on the All-Sun Belt Teams. Markey has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
