The Miami basketball team has its last chance to earn a big non-conference win on Sunday versus Colorado in the NABC Brooklyn Showcase at the Barclay’s Center. Miami travels to Brooklyn ranked 37th in the NCAA Net Ratings and Colorado is 58th. This is the fifth Miami game this season versus a power conference opponent.

Miami beat Georgia and Kansas State at the Bahama Mar Bahamas Hoops Championship, lost at Kentucky in the inaugural ACC-Big East Challenge and defeated Notre Dame in their ACC opener last Saturday. Colorado is playing only its second game this versus a power conference opponent.

Florida State defeated Colorado 77-71 in overtime in the Daytona Beach Tournament. Colorado also lost 88-83 to then number 13 Colorado State. Colorado also defeated Richmond in Daytona. The other five wins for the Buffaloes this season have been in Boulder. Miami is playing its third neutral site game this season.

Colorado is led by guard K.J. Simpson and forwards Tristan Da Silva and Cody Williams. Simpson leads Colorado with 19.4 points per game and 4.4 assists and averages 4.5 rebounds. DaSilva averages 15.5 PPG, 5.0 RP and, 2.1 APG. Williams who is a potential future lottery pick averages 14.0 PPG, 3.6 RPG and 2.0 APG.
