Miami head coach Mario Cristobal revealed during an appearance on SportsCenter that defensive lineman Rueben Bain, offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa and quarterback Carson Beck will be attending the Rookie Symposium at the NFL Combine this week in Indianapolis.

The 2026 NFL Mock Draft Database lists Bain as their top prospect. Mauigoa is eighth and Beck is 47th. The NFL Mock Draft Database is a consensus from multiple sites. It is not indicated how recently each of the sites that are used has been updated.

Ten Miami players were invited to participate at the NFL Combine this week. Tight end Elijah Arroyo will not be able to compete. Arroyo suffered a knee injury that will keep him out of the NFL Combine, but he is expected to be healthy for the Miami Pro Day on March 24.

Bain and Mauigoa are entering their true junior seasons and are not eligible until the 2026 NFL Draft. Beck is entering his sixth season of college football and chose to transfer to Miami from Georgia in part to improve his NFL Draft stock. Cam Ward went from a second or third-day 2024 projection to the top of the 2025 NFL Draft.

"We have three guys attending the Rookie Symposium, so three of our current players will be there as well, Ruben Bain, Francis Mauigoa, Carson Beck attending as again projected guys for the following year. So, all in all it just speaks highly of our players, how hard they work the program, the way to develop people but the fact that Miami is working their tails off to get back to where it's supposed to be. "

Bain, Beck and Mauigoa are expected to be leaders for Miami in 2025. Bain has started since early in his 2023 true freshman season and Mauigoa has started all 26 games for Miami in the last two seasons. Beck played in 38 games with 27 starts in five seasons at Georgia. That included redshirting as a true freshman in 2020.

The NFL Combine got going on Sunday with the players arriving. Workouts begin on Thursday with placekickers, defensive linemen and linebackers. Defensive lineman Tyler Baron, LB Francisco Mauigoa and kicker Andres Borregales will be the first Miami players to participate in the 2025 NFL Combine on Thursday.
