Miami guard Tre Donaldson, center Ernest Udeh Jr. and forward Malik Reneau learned their team assignments for the NBA G-League combine, according to Jon Chepkevich, the Director of Scouting for Draft Express. The NBA G-League Combine begins on Friday.
There are four teams in the NBA G-League Combine. According to Chepkevich, Udeh Jr. is playing for Team 1, Reneau is on Team 3 and Donaldson will be participating with Team 4. Donaldson, Reneau and Udeh Jr. all have notable teammates at the NBA G-League Combine.
Udeh Jr. will play with guards Melvin Council Jr. of Kansas, Tamin Lipsey of Iowa State and Fletcher Loyer of Purdue. Xavian Lee of Florida, Tucker DeVries, who lost to Miami while at Drake in the 2023 NCAA Tournament and this past year played for Indiana and Bryce Hopkins of St. John's are Reneua's notable teammates.
Boopie Miller, who scored 21 points and had four rebounds and six assists in a 77-69 loss to Miami in the penultimate regular season game in March, should be the most well-known NBA G-League Combine teammate of Donaldson for Miami fans.
