Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo, running back Damien Martinez, wide receiver Xavier Restrepo and offensive lineman Jalen Rivers are participating in Senior Bowl week in Mobile, Ala. ahead of the game being held on Saturday. The Senior Bowl is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.

Eight Miami players are projected to be selected in 2025 by the NFL Mock Draft Database. Edge rusher Tyler Baron, kicker Andres Borregales and wide receivers Sam Brown and Jacolby George are participating in the Shrine Bowl in Arlington, Texas that will be played on Thursday night.

Brown and George are the only players participating in the College All-Star games this week who are projected as undrafted free agents by the NFL Mock Draft Database. Only four Miami alums were selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Four of the Miami alums projected to be taken in the 2025 NFL Draft were high school signees with the Hurricanes.

Miami Quarterback Cam Ward is the current projected top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. After Ward, one Miami alum is projected to be taken in the third round, two in the fourth, one each in the fifth and sixth rounds and two in the seventh. The Miami alums in the Shrine Bowl will be examined in a separate article.

Arroyo is currently projected to be the 126th pick overall in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In 2024, Arroyo had 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns and threw a seven-yard score to Cam Ward against Florida State. Arroyo finally was healthy in 2024 and provided scouts a reason to be optimistic for his future.

Martinez is projected to be the 197th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft. After transferring from Oregon State, Martinez led Miami with 1,002 rushing yards and 10 TDs while adding 17 receptions for 204 yards in 2024. The ACC named Martinez honorable mention all-conference.

Restrepo leaves Miami as the most prolific receiver in program history. The NFL Mock Draft Database projects Restrepo as the 70th overall pick in the third round. Restrepo was first-team All-ACC in 2023 and 2024 and consensus first-team All-American in 2024.

Rivers is projected as the 186th overall pick in the sixth round. In 2023 Rivers was named second-team All-ACC and he earned honorable mention in 2024. Rivers is a versatile OL who can play guard or tackle. The experience Rivers gained playing guard or tackle should help his NFL Draft status.

The eight players projected to be drafted from Miami would be the most since nine Hurricanes were selected in the 2017 NFL Draft. Mario Cristobal and his staff have done a better job of developing players than the previous staffs for Miami.
