Top247 wide receiver Milan Parris is about to get a closer look at two heavy hitters. Parris, an Iowa State commit from Walsh Jesuit (Stow, Ohio), will take an official visit to Oklahoma this weekend and then visit Miami next weekend, per 247Sports' Allen Trieu. It will be the first clear visit sequence since a recent wave of new offers pushed his recruitment back into the spotlight.

Parris is a class of 2026 four-star who has climbed into the Top247 at No. 159 overall (No. 21 WR) with a 6-5.5, 205 lb frame and a reported near 6-9 wingspan. As a junior in 2024, he posted 28 catches for 597 yards and nine TDs on a 13–1 team — 21.3 yards per catch in that sample. He's been committed to Iowa State since January of this year and has 26 offers.

The Sooners only recently jumped in with an offer and are now first up for the visit. Parris seems to be their newest target at the WR position. Oregon also offered this week, and it seems like the market is moving quickly for the young wideout.

Miami is next on deck. The Hurricanes offered Parris in early September and have been lurking ever since as his profile rose. The visit timing — Oklahoma this weekend, Miami next — puts Mario Cristobal's staff in position to answer OU's pitch quickly.

Paris is a big outside target with a huge catch radius and has major red-zone value. 247Sports' scouting report highlights his burst off the line, body control, and willingness to block, while also noting that he's still building his route tree (typical for a taller perimeter WR at this stage). With freshman WR Malachi Toney having success this year, Coral Gables could be an attractive spot for many young WR's looking to make an impact early.
