Four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell who is the top-ranked commitment in the 2026 Miami class visited Nebraska last weekend and was at Auburn on Friday. Campbell also visited Auburn and Georgia in January. Miami has hosted Campbell four times for visits and he has an official visit set for Coral Gables on June 20.
Campbell has taken the two visits to Auburn in addition to Florida, Georgia, Michigan and Nebraska per his On3 profile. Rivals reported Campbell is visiting Alabama and Georgia on Sunday. Auburn linebacker coach Roc Bellatoni who contacted Campbell was out on a recruiting visit and not available to show Campbell around.
Auburn director of recruiting research Kenyatta Watson showed Campbell around with Bellatoni not available. Florida and Nebraska are also pushing for visits per Rivals. Former Miami LBs coach Derek Nicholson who left for the same position with Missouri was the lead recruiter for Campbell.
Campbell has been committed to Miami since 2023. The 247Sports composite rankings rank Campbell as the number 70 overall prospect, fifth LB and ninth player in Florida in the 2026 class out of Carol City. Miami also has commitments from four-star cornerback Camdin Portis and three-star quarterback Dereon Coleman in the 2026 class.

Miami will lose Wesley Bissainthe who is a projected four-year starter entering 2026, after the season. Campbell could have an opportunity to play immediately with Miami. In addition to Campbell, Miami also has official visits set up with J.J. Bush from June 6-8 and Karon Maycock from May 30-June 1 among LBs.
Campbell, Coleman and Portis give Miami the 28th-ranked 2026 class in the 247Sports composite rankings. The 2026 Miami class is ranked 13th by On3. As a prospect ranked just outside the top 100 and a local player. Campbell has an opportunity to be a foundational recruit in the 2026 Miami class.
