Four-star interior offensive lineman Reed Ramsier has kept the Miami Hurricanes in the race. The 2027 prospect from Orlando has trimmed his list to five schools: Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Miami, he told Rivals, with the Buckeyes and Crimson Tide out ahead.

4-star IOL Reed Ramsier
Ramsier is listed at 6-5 and 305 pounds. He is ranked No. 243 nationally, the No. 15 interior offensive lineman and the No. 25 player in Florida in the 2027 class according to 247Sports.
Miami is the lone in-state program still standing. Ramsier has already been to Coral Gables for an unofficial visit on Sept. 20, part of a busy fall that also took him to Penn State, Alabama and Ohio State. Playing for head coach Mario Cristobal and line coach Alex Mirabal is a major factor for Ramsier (both are former offensive linemen and long-time OL developers). The chance to stay close to home while competing for championships is also something that has drawn Ramsier closer to the program.
Ramsier included Ohio State because of their culture and track record for developing offensive linemen. He visited Columbus for the UCLA game on Nov. 1 and is one of Ohio State's priority interior targets in 2027.
Alabama's combination of SEC competition and production under new offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic also pushed the Tide into that top group. The Tide's track record of putting players into the NFL is another factor for Ramsier.
The Longhorns extended an offer after seeing Ramsier at a summer camp in Austin, and he had a game-day trip for Texas' win over Arkansas.
Georgia, fresh off multiple national title runs, made the cut on the strength of its competitiveness and offensive line factory status. All of these schools are elite, and they all could help Ramsier make the NFL.
