Five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, four-star prospects, quarterback Dereon Coleman, cornerbacks Jaelen Waters and Jontavious Wyman and linebacker Jordan Campbell and three-star OT Joel Ervin are committed to Miami in the 2026 class and taking their official visits in Coral Gables this weekend.
Cantwell is the highest-ranked player in the 2026 Miami class. The 247Sports composite rankings have Cantwell as the top player nationally in the 2026 class. With Francis Mauigoa almost definitely moving on to the NFL after the 2025 season, Cantwell projects as a starter for Miami in 2026.
Coleman is the 203rd overall prospect, 13th QB and 28th player in Florida in the 2026 class out of Orlando, Jones. In the last two seasons, Campbell completed 69.0 percent of his pass attempts for 5,648 yards, 44 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, with 703 rushing yards and another eight scores, per MaxPreps.
Campbell is the 115th prospect, eighth LB and 14th player in Florida in the 2026 class from Miami Northwestern. In 2024, Campbell had 70 tackles, 28.0 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, 15.0 QB hurries, 4.0 passes defended and 2.0 forced fumbles, per MaxPreps.
Waters is the 152nd prospect, 15th CB and 20th player in Florida out of Seffner, Armwood. Miami freshman running back Girard Pringle Jr. and linebacker Kellan Wiley are also from Armwood. Waters had 40 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 9.0 passes defended, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble in the last two years.
Wyman is the 191st prospect, 19th CB and 24th player in Georgia in the 2026 class from Jonesboro. Wyman had 29 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 3.0 pass breakups, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble as a junior in 2024.
Ervin is the 685th prospect, 60th OT and 90th player in Florida in the 2026 class out of Fort Myers. Florida is hosting Ervin the weekend of June 13 for an official visit and he is scheduled to be at USC beginning on June 20, per his 247Sports profile page.
Miami currently has the 12th-ranked 2026 class. Depending on the recruiting site, Miami had several five-star prospects take official visits last weekend. Miami could move into the top 10 by the end of June or early July, when many prospects make commitments.
