ESPN NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. includes former Miami offensive linemen Francis Mauigoa and Markel Bell, edge rushers Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor and quarterback Carson Beck in his final big board of the top 150 prospects.
Mauigoa is ninth, Bain 16th, Mesidor 23rd, Scott 80th, Bell 99th and Beck 111th on Kiper Jr.'s big board. Those projections would place Mauigoa, Bain, and Mesidor in round one on the first day of the 2026 NFL Draft, Scott and Bell in the third round on day two, and Beck as a fourth-round pick on day three.
Kiper Jr. summarized the top 25 players on his Big Board. Kiper Jr. calls Mauigoa "a true mauler...for the way he just destroys pass rushers at the point of attack." Mauigoa had 2,700 snaps at right tackle during his three collegiate seasons, but could become a Pro Bowl-caliber guard per Kiper Jr.
Bain is powerful with strong hands per Kiper Jr., while showing speed and bend off the edge by taking good angles. Kiper Jr. said it's Bain's hustle that stands out to him by never taking a play off. Bain has been questioned for his arms being 30 7/8, which is shorter than most prefer.
A couple of updates on the expert consensus board this morning.

Mesidor praised for versatility
Kiper Jr. praised Mesidor for his versatility, stating he "makes his presence felt against both the run and the pass, and he shows good bend, closing burst and power." Mesidor was also praised by Kiper Jr. for the ability to move inside to defensive tackle and bring pressure inside.
Kiper Jr. also broke down his rankings by position. Beck is the third QB on Kiper Jr.'s Big Board, C.J. Daniels is the 39th wide receiver, Alex Bauman the 19th tight end, Mauigoa the top offensive tackle and Bell 10th and Anez Cooper the 11th ranked guard.
Among the Miami defensive prospects, Bain is third, Mesidor fifth and Wesley Bissainthe, a linebacker at Miami, 29th as edge rushers, David Blay Jr.41st at defensive tackle, Scott the 10th-ranked cornerback and Jakobe Thomas the 10th-best safety.
