The ACC released its first availability report on Tuesday for No. 5 Miami's game at Wake Forest on Friday.
Miami (2-0, 1-0 ACC) listed four players as out: cornerbacks OJ Frederique Jr. and Xavier Lucas, defensive back Ja'Boree Antoine and tight end Luka Gilbert. All four were expected to be unavailable.

Miami at Wake Forest first availability report
Miami
- Cornerback OJ Frederique Jr. is out after suffering a significant left shoulder injury on the second snap of the Stanford opener, when he made an open-field tackle and did not return. Mario Cristobal said the St. Thomas Aquinas product will be down for quite a while.
- Cornerback Xavier Lucas is out after playing 39 snaps at Stanford, where he recorded two tackles and two pass breakups. Cristobal said Lucas is likely to miss about a month.
- Defensive back Ja'Boree Antoine is out and has not played this season after being ruled out before Stanford. Cristobal said he suffered an injury that is expected to keep him out until the latter part of the year.
- Tight end Luka Gilbert is out for the season after an injury sustained before fall camp.
- Defensive back Dylan Day has no designation on the report after missing the first two games.
Wake Forest
- Quarterback Gio Lopez is probable and is expected to start on Friday after leading Wake Forest to a 38-36 double-overtime win at Purdue. In that game he completed 16 of 27 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown and ran for 59 yards and two scores. Lopez has 575 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and no interceptions through two games.
- Wide receiver Ny Carr, a former Hurricane, is doubtful and is uncertain to play on Friday. Carr is the only Wake Forest skill player that was included on the first report besides Lopez.
