The Miami Hurricanes are still undefeated after a Week 3 road win at Wake Forest, but it's unlikely that they will move up in the top 25 polls with the 33-20 win over the Demon Deacons. It's not early enough in the season to sound any alarms, but voters are fickle in the first few weeks, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Miami drop a spot or two.
There were some entertaining games within the top 25 as the conference season has arrived, and we'll see some tougher matchups on the weekly schedule. And with that being said. Here are this week's poll predictions.
Miami drops out of the top 5, but there's nothing to worry about
1. Texas Longhorns, 30-6 win over UTSA
2. Georgia Bulldogs, 45-17 win over Arkansas
3. Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 27-10 win over Michigan State
4. Ole Miss Rebels, 32-24 win over LSU
5. Indiana Hoosiers, 38-0 win over Western Kentucky
6. Ohio State Buckeyes, 59-3 win over Kent State
7. Miami Hurricanes, 33-20 win over Wake Forest
Ole Miss has a top-10 win now and that has to be acknowledged and that means they'll skip a few teams, including the Hurricanes. Miami's sluggish effort against Wake Forest will probably land it behind the Buckeyes again. All it means is that the Hurricanes are exactly where they started a month ago. The top three stayed the same even though none of them looked particularly great.
Texas Tech did enough to get into the top 10

9. BYU Cougars, 41-23 win over Colorado State
10. Texas Tech Red Raiders, 28-26 win over Houston
11. USC Trojans, 42-35 win over Rutgers
12. LSU Tigers, 32-24 loss to Ole Miss
13. Tennessee Volunteers, 42-9 win over Kennesaw State
14. Penn State Nittany Lions, 55-13 win over Buffalo
15. Utah Utes., 33-0 win over Utah State
This is an interesting group and a place where we could see some real movement. Texas Tech's win over a ranked Houston squad should be good enough to get the Red Raiders into the top ten and hop ahead of USC. A five-spot drop for LSU seems fair after losing to Ole Miss, but I could see a world where the Tigers stay at the back-end of the top 10.
Louisville is officially a CFP contender after SMU win
16. Louisville Cardinals, 41-31 win over SMU
17. Michigan Wolverines, 52-17 win over UTEP
18. Iowa Hawkeyes, 55-0 win over Northern Iowa
19. Oregon Ducks, 84-0 win over Portland State
20. Florida Gators, 44-39 win over Auburn
Louisville jumps big after the home win over SMU and I think Florida is deserving of this spot after looking pretty impressive on the road in a win over Auburn that probably wasn't as close as the score would suggest. There was some consideration for the Cardinals jumping into the top 15 because their only loss is by a field goal is an Ole Miss team that should be in the top five.
21. Texas A&M Aggies, 31-21 loss to Kentucky
22. SMU Mustangs, 41-31 loss to Louisville
23. Oklahoma Sooners, 14-6 win over New Mexico
24. Missouri Tigers, 27-17 win over Troy
25. Houston Cougars, 28-26 loss to Texas Tech
There's no team in this group worth defending if you want to argue that they should be out. Texas A&M is a definite pretender, and it's good that Kentucky ended the hype around the Aggies early.
