Cam Ward is a slight favorite at +330 to win the 2025 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in the most recent odds posted by FanDuel. Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, who was selected sixth by the Las Vegas Raiders in the first round, is the second favorite to win Offensive ROY at +340.
Ward is the overwhelming favorite among QBs who are Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates. Jaxon Dart, who was the 25th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft by the New York Giants and the second QB taken, is also the second favorite among signal callers at +1900 to win Offensive ROY.
There is also a prop bet for Ward at 3205.5 passing yards, with over and under both at -114. Tennessee QBs Will Levis and Mason Rudolph combined for 3,317 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and 21 interceptions in 2024. Levis remains with Tennessee, while Rudolph returned to Pittsburgh, where he played from 2018-2023.
Three rookie QBs exceeded 3205.5 passing yards in 2024. Denver QB Bo Nix led all rookies with 3,775 passing yards in 2024. Jayden Daniels threw for 3,568 yards in winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears had 3,541 passing yards in 2024.

Levis threw for 1,808 passing yards with eight TDs and four interceptions in nine starts as a rookie in 2023. Warren Moon holds the Tennessee franchise rookie record with 3,338 passing yards in one season in 1984. Moon was an NFL rookie with the then Houston Oilers after playing six seasons in the CFL with Edmonton.
Marcus Mariota holds the true Tennessee franchise record for a rookie with 2,818 passing yards in 2015 and overall with 19 TD passes. If he stays healthy, Ward should easily eclipse the passing TD record and have a good chance to break the rookie passing yardage record in 2025.
Ward has already won one Rookie of the Year as the Jerry Rice Award recipient as the top freshman in the Football Bowl Subdivision during spring 2021. Entering his NFL rookie season, Ward is one of the players to watch as the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
