Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that John Harbaugh is spending today and the next few days watching film on two rookie quarterbacks: New York Giants first-rounder Jaxson Dart and Tennessee Titans No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. Russini added that Harbaugh has been in contact with team decision-makers while also communicating with potential members of his coaching staff.
Harbaugh hit the market after Baltimore fired him Tuesday, ending an 18-year run that included a Super Bowl title. The Ravens finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs, with their season ending in a 26-24 loss at Pittsburgh.

The Ravens are one of seven head-coaching vacancies, along with Arizona, Atlanta, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Tennessee and the Giants. Among the vacancies, the quarterback situation matters. Coaches rarely step into a new job without taking a hard look at the most important position in the building.
Cam Ward's tape should be able to impress John Harbaugh
Ward set Miami program single-season records for passing yards (4,313) and passing touchdowns (39) during his final college season, while also earning major national and ACC honors.
Ward finished his first NFL season with 3,169 passing yards, 15 touchdown passes and seven interceptions in 17 starts. Also, he won't need surgery after suffering a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder in the Titans' season finale.
Dart was the Giants' 2025 first-round pick (No. 25 overall) out of Ole Miss. His numbers in 2025 were 2,272 passing yards,15 touchdowns and five interceptions, along with a 57.8 QBR.
If Harbaugh is narrowing down his decision to who he thinks is better/more promising between Dart and Ward, then the former Hurricanes QB should be able to impress and come out on top. Despite the 3-14 record, Ward proved that he can be a franchise QB at the NFL level. If your are John Harbaugh, that is a huge plus in the Titans favor.
