Carson Beck catches more heat for off-the-field activities

Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck found himself at the center of controversy during UFC 314 in Las Vegas, as Kai Trump and the Cavinder twins, Haley and Hanna, publicly criticized him amid reports of a recent breakup between Beck and Hanna Cavinder.

In a video shared by Kai Trump, she asks, "Does he even have any friends?" Hanna Cavinder replies,"No... literally no one likes him. I didn't break up with him because he cheated, I broke up with him because of who he is."

Speculation about Beck and Hanna Cavinder's relationship began earlier this month when fans noticed that Hanna had unfollowed Beck on Instagram and removed photos of them together. Further fueling the rumors, Haley Cavinder liked a TikTok video referencing alleged infidelity involving Beck.

These reports came a few weeks after the couple was victim to a robbery where both had their cars stolen. Beck's Lamborghini, Mercedes and Cavinder's Range Rover were stolen. Beck's Lamborghini is the only car that has not been found yet.

Beck, who transferred from the University of Georgia to Miami earlier this year, is recovering from a season-ending elbow injury sustained during Georgia's win over Texas in the SEC Championship. Despite a less-than-stellar 2024 season, where he threw 12 interceptions and completed 64.7% of his passes, Miami invested heavily in Beck, reportedly offering him a $4.3 million NIL deal. This move has drawn criticism from some, including Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, who questioned the decision by saying, "Miami gave him $4.3 million? Did they watch his game against us?"

As Beck prepares for the upcoming season, the public nature of his personal life continues to be a talking point. As the season comes closer, Beck will have to remain focused and continue to rehab back to full health for a successful campaign with Miami.
