Miami quarterback Carson Beck did not throw an interception in three games after losses during his Georgia tenure. Beck will attempt to continue that trend when Miami hosts Stanford on Saturday night after a 24-21 loss to Louisville last week.
Beck completed 25 passes in 35 attempts for 271 yards, no touchdowns and one interception versus Louisville. Stanford is 16th in the ACC, allowing 304.7 passing yards per game with 12 touchdowns and a league low one interception in 2025.
Opponents have completed 65.4 percent of their pass attempts against Stanford and average 8.0 yards per attempt. Stanford is the first of consecutive games for Miami against the four worst pass defenses in the ACC.
Beck's first loss as a starting QB was 27-24 to Alabama in the 2023 SEC Championship game. Beck completed 21 passes in 29 attempts for 243 yards, no TDs and no interceptions versus Alabama. In a 63-3 over Florida State in the Orange Bowl, Beck completed 13 passes in 18 attempts for 203 yards, two TDs and no interceptions.

"He's fine. He's played enough football to have games like that...he felt like we all did, like we gave one away and it sucks. But at some point, you have to shake it off and move on...we've got to do better."
Alabama beat Georgia 41-34 in 2024 to give Beck his second loss of his career. Beck completed 27 passes in 50 attempts for 439 yards, three TDs and three interceptions versus Alabama in 2024. In a 31-13 win over Auburn in the next game, Beck completed 23 passes in 29 attempts for 240 yards, two TDs and no interceptions.
Mississippi beat Georgia 28-10 for the third and final loss of the Beck era at Georgia. Beck completed 20 passes in 31 attempts for 186 yards, no TDs and one interception in the loss at Mississippi. In a 31-17 win over Tennessee in the next game, Beck completed 25 passes in 40 attempts for 347 yards, two TDs and no interceptions.
In his four career losses, Beck has completed 64.1 percent of his pass attempts for 1,139 yards, three TDs and eight interceptions. Beck has completed 69.3 percent of his pass attempts for 790 yards, six TDs and no interceptions in the games after a loss.
Beck has previously shown resiliency to perform after a bad game. Auburn entered the game 2-3 when Georgia played them in 2024. Stanford enters the game on Saturday with three wins and four losses. Florida State was 12-0 and Tennessee 8-1 when Beck led Georgia to wins following his other two career losses as a starter.
