Clemson at Miami ACC opener : Odds, Series history and TV

Miami hosts Clemson in their ACC season opener on Saturday attempting to end a five game losing streak.

Miami will attempt to end a five game losing streak when they host Clemson on Saturday in their ACC opener. Clemson has started the season 8-1 and is coming off of a win over Kentucky in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Tigers are the only team in the ACC with one loss.

Boise State defeated Clemson 84-71 on November 17 to give the Tigers their only loss. Miami is tied with Virginia Tech for the worst record in the ACC at 3-5. Miami has not won since a 93-63 win over Coppin State on November 17. Miami continues a tough stretch versus number three Tennessee in New York on Tuesday.

Miami led Arkansas for over 36 minutes in a 76-73 loss on Tuesday. Losses to Charleston Southern, Virginia Commonwealth, Oklahoma State and Drake preceded the defeat to Arkansas. Clemson enters the game on Saturday afternoon at the Watsco Center with a five-game winning streak.

Clemson is led by senior forward Ian Schefflein who averages 12.3 points per game and 12.6 rebounds. Guard Chase Hunter leads Clemson averaging 15.3 PPG. Forward Viktor Lakhin at 6'11 and Chauncey Wiggins at 6'10 give Clemson exceptional size on the frontline and average over 10 PPG.
