Miami will reunite with Manny Diaz when they host Duke on Saturday afternoon at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami has opened as a three-touchdown favorite for the second consecutive week when they host Duke on Saturday. Duke enters the game with a 6-2 record in their first season under former Miami head coach Manny Diaz. After starting 5-0 Duke has lost two of its last three games.

Miami ended a three-game streak of one-score games with a dominant 36-14 win over Florida State on Saturday. The Hurricanes moved up to fifth from sixth in the Associated Press Top 25 week 10 poll. Miami is also fifth in the AFCA Coaches poll. Texas dropped from fifth to sixth in the AP Top 25.

After their least productive game passing versus Florida State, Miami faces the top pass defense in the ACC against Duke on Saturday. Duke is allowing 166.6 passing yards per game in 2024. Miami is second nationally and first in the ACC averaging 366.8 passing yards per game.

Damien Martinez has asserted himself in the last two games. That culminated with Martinez rushing for 148 yards on 15 carries with two TDs versus Florida State on Saturday. Mark Fletcher ran 15 times for 71 yards with one score versus Florida State after his father passed away earlier in the week.
