EA Sports College Football 27 puts two Miami WRs among national top 10

Malachi Toney is the No. 2 receiver in the game while Cooper Barkate gives Miami a second top-10 option.

Miami has two of the 10 highest-rated wide receivers in EA Sports College Football 27. Malachi Toney enters the game as the No. 2 wide receiver nationally with a 96 overall rating and Cooper Barkate joins him at 90 overall.

EA puts two Miami WRs among top 10 in CFB 27

Every other school represented in the top 10 has one receiver on the list while Miami has Toney and Barkate. Both players produced more than 1,100 receiving yards during the 2025 season.

Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith is the clear No. 1 at 99 overall. Toney is the only receiver within three points of Smith, with a four-point gap between Miami's sophomore star and the next group of receivers.

Cam Coleman, Florida State's Duce Robinson and Rutgers standout KJ Duff each received 92 overall ratings. Colorado transfer Danny Scudero, Texas A&M's Mario Craver and Alabama's Ryan Coleman-Williams were rated 91 overall. Houston's Amare Thomas and Barkate complete the group at 90 overall.

Coleman, Scudero and Barkate recorded their totals before transferring to Texas, Colorado and Miami, respectively.

  • Duce Robinson, Florida State, 92 overall: 56 receptions, 1,081 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
  • KJ Duff, Rutgers, 92 overall: 60 receptions, 1,084 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
  • Danny Scudero, San José State, 91 overall: 88 receptions, 1,291 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
  • Mario Craver, Texas A&M, 91 overall: 59 receptions, 917 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
  • Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama, 91 overall: 49 receptions, 689 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
  • Amare Thomas, Houston, 90 overall: 67 receptions, 966 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
  • Cooper Barkate, Duke, 90 overall: 72 receptions, 1,106 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
