Recent Miami history recruiting the D-line
The Hurricanes officially signed seven defensive linemen in the 2026 class: Asharri Charles, DeAnthony Lafayette, Jordan Campbell (edge/linebacker hybrid), Keshawn Stancil, Logan Nagle, Tyson Bacon, Frederic Sainteus and Isaac Chukwurah.
The headliner of that group is Keshawn Stancil, a four-star defensive lineman from Clayton, North Carolina. 247Sports had him as the No. 72 overall player in the country and No. 5 defensive lineman. He posted 68 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and five sacks as a senior after a huge junior year with 63 tackles, 23 TFL and nine sacks.
For the 2027 class, Miami does not currently have a defensive line commit. The class has five commits: Ah'Mari Stevens, Jaylyn Jones, Zaquan Linton, Demarcus Deroche and Nick Lennear.
