One of college football's most notable insiders has the Miami Hurricanes going deep in the College Football Playoff. ESPN's Heather Dinich filled out her CFP bracket this week and pushed Miami all the way to the semifinals before having them lose to Georgia.

Heather Dinich has Miami beating both Texas A&M and Ohio State
Miami, as the No. 10 seed, heads to College Station to face No. 7 Texas A&M in the first round. Dinich sides with the Hurricanes as mentioned earlier. The rest of the CFP according to Dinich: No. 12 James Madison falls to No. 5 Oregon, No. 11 Tulane loses to No. 6 Ole Miss, and No. 9 Alabama defeats No. 8 Oklahoma. Dinich isn't buying the Group of Six teams in the opening round.
Dinich's second round goes as follows: No. 1 Indiana beats Alabama, No. 2 Ohio State falls to Miami, No. 3 Georgia defeats Ole Miss and No. 4 Texas Tech beats Oregon. The Ole Miss loss makes sense considering they won't have Lane Kiffin.
From there, Dinich no longer puts her faith in the Canes. She opts for the Bulldogs in the game between them and Miami. Then, Dinich goes with Indiana in their matchup with Texas Tech. Finally, in the CFP national championship game, she crowns Georgia over Indiana. She is putting a lot of faith in Gunner Stockton with that pick.
The run for Miami ends one game short of the title game. But, if the Hurricanes have the ability to defeat Ohio State, they can beat anybody in the country. So, for Dinich to pick them to make it all the way to the semifinals, that is a major vote of confidence and an indicator she probably thinks they could win it all (even if she didn't pick them to actually do that).
