There are still three games left to be played in the College Football Playoff, but plenty of people have already shifted their focus to the 2025 NFL Draft. Leading up to late April, the big question on everyone's mind will be related to the No. 1 overall pick.

Will it be Miami Hurricanes football standout Cam Ward off the board first, or will it be Colorado signal-caller Shedeur Sanders? Depending on who you ask, Ward should be the No. 1 overall pick, but others think Sanders should be the top choice for the Tennessee Titans, who are on the clock.

ESPN analyst Jordan Reid came out with his latest NFL Mock Draft this week and he has made his call. While Reid believes Sanders is going to be a top prospect for the '25 class, he believes Tennessee should rock with Ward when it's time for them to make the call:

ESPN's Jordan Reid thinks Cam Ward should be the top pick over Shedeur Sanders

"When asked what the Titans should do with their first No. 1 pick since 1978, sources around the league told me they must take a quarterback -- but were split between Ward and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders," Reid wrote. "The 6-foot-2, 223-pound Ward is currently my top QB prospect, and I think the Titans -- who will have a new GM after firing Ran Carthon on Tuesday -- would select him here.

"His combination of arm power, creativity and a shortstop-like throwing motion make him an electric playmaker. He can also beat you deep, as his 29 completions on passes of 20-plus air yards were the seventh most nationally. Ward threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions for the Hurricanes this season while also rushing for four touchdowns."

Hey, we're not going to argue with Reid here at all. Time and time again, Ward proved he was one of the best players in the country this past campaign for Miami. The hope was that Ward would help Cristobal get to the CFP, but unfortunately that didn't happen.

Despite that, Ward had a record-breaking season for the Canes with his 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns. When he transferred over from Washington State, fans had high hopes for him, but was anyone expecting this?

Ward is going to have several opportunities to prove to the Titans that he should be the top pick in this year's draft soon enough. Obviously, his Pro Day and the NFL Scouting Combine will result in so many eyes being on him. Ward has a bright future at the next level, there's no doubt about that, but we sure hope that future ends up being in Tennessee.
