The lead ABC/ESPN college football announcing team of Chris Fowler on play-by-play, Kirk Herbstreit as the analyst and Holly Rowe as the sideline reporter will be calling the Florida at Miami game with a 7:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time kickoff on ABC as announced by the mothership in a press release on Monday.

ESPN College Gameday will broadcast their iconic pregame show in Coral Gables on Miami's campus on Saturday morning. That makes for an easy commute for Herbstreit who often files from one location for Gameday to wherever he, Fowler and Lowe are broadcasting that day.

ESPN College Gameday will be on the Miami Coral Gables campus for the first time since November 11, 2017. Miami beat 8-1, third-ranked Notre Dame 41-8 to improve to 9-0 in the biggest win for the Hurricanes in many years. Miami beat Notre Dame 27-27 in the 2025 season opener in their first meeting since 2017.

In the 2024 season opener, Miami won 41-17 in their last game against Florida in Gainesville. Miami is hosting Florida on Saturday for the first time since 2013. It appears that Fowler, Herbstreit and Rowe will be calling a Miami game for the first time since they lost 17-9 at Texas A&M in 2022.

Miami is hosting ESPN College Gameday for the ninth time and the second occurrence on campus. Miami is 7-1 the eight previous times they have hosted ESPN College Gameday. Miami Beach resident Fowler gets a home game calling Florida at Miami on Saturday night.

The game against Florida is the second Miami contest with a 7:30 PM EDT kickoff on ABC this season. Notre Dame at Miami had a 7:30 PM EDT kickoff with Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy calling the Hurricanes' season-opening win.

With Miami at Florida State on October 4, a potential game between two top 10 teams, the Hurricanes could play consecutive games with a primetime kickoff on ABC. Miami at Florida State should be the marquee matchup in week six.
