Cam Ward's rookie season in Tennessee has been a weird mix of big-play flashes and stretches of frustration. The Titans are 3-13 with one week left, but the former Miami star is starting to look like the exact reason they used the No. 1 overall pick on him.

Cam Ward is the franchise QB for the Tennessee Titans
On Sunday, Pro Football Focus pointed to Ward's recent string of games where he has "turned it on" over his past three games, citing a 74.4% adjusted completion rate, 635 passing yards, six touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 104.0 passer rating.
Ward threw two TDs with zero picks at San Francisco on Dec. 14, followed by a two-TD, zero-INT win over Kansas City on Dec. 21, then another two-TD, zero-INT game Sunday against the Saints. Even though the Titans are 1-2 in that stretch, they have remained competitive, and Ward can bring that momentum into the 2026 NFL season.
In Sunday's 34-26 loss to New Orleans, Ward had his fourth straight game with multiple TD passes.
The Kansas City game a week earlier was the one win of the group. Ward went 21 of 28 for 228 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-9 win. On the season, Ward has 3,117 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
If you are a Miami fan watching from afar, you have known that Ward has been that guy. Now, the Titans are starting to put together some competitive performances and Ward is taking care of the football.
The Titans face the 12-4 Jacksonville Jaguars in the final week of the NFL regular season next Sunday. In the last matchup against the Jaguars, the Titans were not able to score a touchdown and lost 25-3. Ward threw for 141 yards, zero TDs and zero INTs in that game.
