Tight End Riley Williams
Williams, listed at 6-foot-5 and 273 pounds, appeared in limited action for the Beavers this fall. He had one catch for 15 yards in 2025, missing stretches of the season with an injury, and will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next stop. For Oregon State, the move comes less than a year after the program touted him as one of its top transfer additions and part of a one-two punch at tight end going into the year.
Williams originally signed with Miami in the 2023 recruiting class and played two seasons in Coral Gables. Across 21 games with the Hurricanes, he totaled 15 receptions for 187 yards and one touchdown, including a 22-yard score against Georgia Tech as a freshman and a 31-yard grab against Virginia Tech in 2024. His initial decision to leave Miami after the 2024 season was a surprise for a player projected as a future playmaker in the Hurricanes' offense.
A native of Portland, Oregon, Williams starred at Central Catholic High School before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. At IMG, he helped power one of the nation's top offenses and was ranked as a consensus four-star prospect. ESPN rated him the No. 75 overall player and No. 2 tight end in the 2023 class, while 247Sports and Rivals also listed him among the top tight ends nationally.
Williams chose Miami over a national offer list that included Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and USC, among others. Returning to his home state and playing closer to family were key factors in his decision to join the Beavers.
