DawgsHQ Senior Recruiting Analyst Jake Reuse posted on X on Thursday that the University of Georgia Bookstore reduced prices of Carson Beck apparel by 25 percent. After initially planning on entering the 2025 NFL Draft, Beck chose to enter the transfer portal. Beck eventually decided on Miami.

Beck committed to Miami on Jan. 10 after initially entering the NFL Draft in December. It is not clear from the post by Reuse how long the Beck apparel has been on sale. The official Miami store does not have any Beck merchandise on their site after a search.

The Georgia online store has jerseys, slides and sweatshirts available with Beck's name on it. College athletic programs have only been able to use an athlete's profile to sell merchandise since July 2021. Beck will almost certainly have a presence in the Miami store as the college football season gets closer.

The On3 name, image, and likeness evaluation for Beck is valued at $4.3 million. Beck's evaluation has increased by $100,000 since the beginning of February. Beck is currently third among all college athletes in the On3 NIL evaluations, following Texas quarterback Arch Manning and Duke forward Cooper Flagg.

Beck has a huge opportunity to generate a lot of apparel sales with Miami, as he replaces 2024 Heisman Trophy finalist Cam Ward as the Hurricanes' QB in 2025. As of 2024, Georgia was fifth nationally in revenue, generating $203,048,566. As a private school, Miami does not have to report those numbers.

Having a marquee QB for the second consecutive season should help Miami generate more revenue in apparel and ticket sales. Miami has eight home games in 2025, which includes the season opener against Notre Dame and Florida three weeks later. Eight of the first 10 games for Miami are at home in 2025.
