How Carson Beck has performed in 2 previous games against Florida

Carson Beck will start his third game against Georgia when Miami hosts the Gators on Saturday night. Beck led Georgia to wins over Florida in Jacksonville in each of the past two seasons. Georgia beat Florida 43-20 in 2023 and 34-20 in 2024.

Beck completed 19 passes in 28 attempts for 315 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions with five carries for 10 yards in 2023 against Florida. Beck told reporters earlier this week that Florida is very multiple on defense, they play fast, have a good secondary and (line)backers and have shown this year they are a good defense. Beck stated having experience in general is more important than his two games against Florida. Beck needs to cut down on his interceptions against Florida on Saturday. The interceptions Beck threw in 2024 versus Florida all came in a one-score game. Losing a possession can quickly flip momentum.
