The selection committee unveils its first 2025 CFP rankings tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 4) at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. That 45-minute show launches the weekly reveal cycle that runs through Selection Sunday, and it arrives with Miami coming off the OT loss at SMU and squarely in the national conversation about who’s still in, who's out, and who can climb with a November finish.

When and where

  • Time: 8:00-8:45 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Nov. 4
  • Channel: ESPN (linear)
  • Subsequent shows: Tuesdays through December 2, plus Selection Sunday on Dec. 7.
  • The committee returns Nov. 11 (7-8 p.m. ET), Nov. 18 (8:30-9:00 p.m. ET), Nov. 25 (7-8 p.m. ET), Dec. 2 (7-7:30 p.m. ET), then Selection Sunday Dec. 7 (noon-3 p.m. ET) on ESPN.

If you don't have YouTube TV

Disney networks (including ESPN/ABC) are currently blacked out on YouTube TV due to a carriage dispute, so you'll need another path tonight. Viable options include:

  • ESPN's new direct-to-consumer plan ("ESPN Unlimited"), which streams the full ESPN linear networks slate inside the ESPN app.
  • Live-TV streamers that carry ESPN, such as Fubo TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and DirecTV Stream/MySports.

Why this matters to Miami

  • Context after Week 10: Miami dropped in the AP poll after the 26-20 OT loss at SMU, a result that dented but didn't erase CFP hopes.
  • What to watch on the show: Miami could still be in the mix if chaos ensues in college football (which it almost always does). Where the committee places Miami tonight will signal how much they will need to do to get an at-large bid.

Tonight's run-of-show, at a glance

  • Top 25 reveal with committee chair interview on ESPN.
  • Segment-by-segment reaction from studio analysts on strength of record, quality wins, etc.

Is there a free way to stream the show?

Some live-TV streamers offer time-limited trials (Fubo, DirecTV Stream/MySports). Check availability in your market before the 8 p.m. ET start.
