Malachi Toney and the Miami Hurricanes have a long offseason ahead of them, but the wide receiver is still interacting with fans. Toney recently hosted a youth football camp in Hollywood, Fla., and roughly 300 kids signed up. The reaction he received did not disappoint.

Here's a look at the complete camp description from FlexWork:

"Over the course of the day, Miami Star WR Malachi Toney and our FlexWork Sports coaches will guide your child through an exciting, high-energy day designed around fun and unforgettable experiences on the field. Camp activities include interactive sessions, skill stations, and unique opportunities to connect with our athletes in ways that make the game come alive.

All campers will be grouped according to age so everyone feels comfortable, engaged, and able to enjoy the day at the right pace. We ask that campers come dressed in athletic attire (gym shorts, cleats, or sneakers) and ready to dive into the experience. Whether your child is brand new to Football or already loves the game, our camps are built to spark excitement and create memories that last well beyond camp day."

It also mentions that each camp participant receives a camp team photo with Toney, a limited edition Malachi Toney FlexWork Football Camp T-Shirt, and take-home items from event sponsors, as long as they are available.

The camp, which ran from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 2nd, sold out.

Malachi Toney prepares for 2026 season with huge expectations at Miami

We are still months off from the 2026 college football season, but it's closer on the horizon than it may appear. And Toney and his teammates will certainly enter this one with a chip on their shoulder after losing the national title game, 27-21, to the Indiana Hoosiers in Hard Rock Stadium.

Toney himself had a standout performance, crossing the century mark as he caught 10 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown. That capped off a season in which he tallied 109 receptions for 1,211 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had one rushing score.

That's impressive, especially for just a freshman. Toney has a chance to build upon that as the Hurricanes look to return to the same stage -- and get the job done this time -- under head coach Mario Cristobal.

The expectations for Toney are high, as ESPN's Chris Fowler recently named him the "most exciting player in the sport."

"You keep feeding him the ball, and he just keeps finding a way to create space and make things happen," Fowler said. "I think he is the most exciting player in the sport."

Toney has the chance to be that for a long time.

"I love the fact that we're going to see him for two more years," Fowler added.

Toney and the Hurricanes will get back to the action on Sept. 4 on the road against the Stanford Cardinal. Kickoff time is still to be determined.
