Miami is eighth among the most-watched teams through week eight of the 2025 college football season, per Nielsen Big Data + Panel data via Nick Schultz of On3. Miami has had an average of 5.6 million viewers watch their first seven games of the 2025 college football season.
The season-opening 27-24 Miami win over Notre Dame is the highest-viewed game for the Hurricanes and third nationally this season, with 10.8 million people watching. Texas at Ohio State, with 16.6 million viewers and Georgia at Tennessee, which had 12.6 million, are the highest-watched 2025 games.
The 26-7 Miami win over Florida in week four is the 14th most-watched game of 2025 with 6.5 million viewers. Miami's 28-22 win at Florida State in week six is the 20th most-watched game during the 2025 season, with 6.0 million viewers.
Alabama is the most-watched team in 2025 with an average of 7.92 million viewers. Tennessee (7.9), Georgia (7.599), Texas (6.88), Oklahoma (6.29), LSU (6.14) and Ohio State (6.11) are the only teams with a higher viewership than Miami in 2025.

Florida, at 5.15 million viewers and Notre Dame, with 4.995 are the final programs ranked in the top 10 nationally in viewership through week eight. Several teams that are not in the top 10 overall have played in games that are in the top 20 most viewed through eight weeks.
Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt have all played in 2025 games in the top 10 in viewership through eight weeks. Oregon at Penn State is the only game featuring teams not in the top 20 in viewership.
Miami is not likely to be featured as prominently in its last six 2025 games as the Hurricanes were in the first half of the season. Miami hosts Stanford on Saturday before finishing the 2025 season with games at SMU, versus Syracuse and North Carolina State and at Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh.
