Mario Cristobal never stops recruiting, and he's got his eyes on another trench warrior.
3-star defensive lineman Isaac Chukwurah will be in Coral Gables this weekend for an official visit to Miami. The interior line prospect is currently committed to Penn State, but that pledge is obviously a soft one since James Franklin was fired and the program won't name a replacement for at least a few more weeks.

Chukwurah, who has been committed to the Nittany Lions since May, has been active with his recruitment again. He was at N.C. State last week to watch the Wolfpack hand Georgia Tech its first loss of the season. There are also planned visits to West Virginia and Syracuse on the docket.
Currently, the predictions have Chukwurah flipping to Miami, which would give the Hurricanes another interior defensive line player to go along with 4-star linemen Keshawn Stancil and 3-stars Tyson Bacon and Frederic Stainteus.
There's a lot of recruiting smoke around Miami
Beyond Chukwurah's official visit, Miami will have some significant prospects in attendance for Saturday's game. Four-star defensive back Tedarius Hughes just flipped to the Orange from Florida State, and he'll be watching along with blue-chip wide receiver Calvin Russell. Will these local prospects from Miami Northwestern be checking out the 'Canes or the Orange? Both players have been to several Miami games over the past couple of seasons, so I'm curious to see what they will be looking for tomorrow.
The verified visitors list (courtesy of 247Sports) shows a major focus on trying to shore up this defensive line class with potential flip targets. One of the names on the list, 4-star UCLA commit Carter Gooden, is no longer expected to make the trip, but 3-star Pitt commit Logan Nagle, is a player that the Hurricanes staff will be pushing on pretty hard this weekend.
This is a critical week for Cristobal and the staff to close out this class and, with the right prospects, this could be one of the best recruiting hauls yet.
