Miami offensive line coach Alex Mirabal finished No. 1 in the ACC in the 2025 Rivals recruiter rankings. Mirabal was the primary recruiter for four 2025 Miami signees on the offensive line. Rivals stated that Mirabal balances elite skill and potential in the prospects he signs.
Center S.J. Alofaituli is the top OL prospect in the 2025 Miami class and one of the highest-rated signees overall. Miami also signed guard Max Buchanan and offensive tackles Demetrius Campbell and Jaden Wilkerson. Cambell and Wilkerson both have exceptional length at tackle at 6-6.
Rivals praised Mirabal for specializing in communication and overall effort in his recruiting style, as well as getting ahead of the competition by offering prospects well ahead of their senior seasons and gaining their commitments. Rivals stated Miami's OL signees would be the "deepest and most intriguing" position group in its 2025 class.
Miami signed the top-rated class in the ACC for the third full recruiting cycle with Cristobal as head coach and Mirabal as the OL coach. Alofaituli projects as the heir apparent at center to TCU transfer James Brockermeyer, who has one season remaining of eligibility.

The young Miami OL will have a chance to develop in 2025. Miami returns starting right tackle Francis Mauigoa and guards Anez Cooper and Matthew McCoy. Left tackle Markel Bell, who received a significant amount of snaps in 2025, and Brockermeyer are the expected other starters for Miami on the OL.
Miami is expected to have one of the best OLs nationally in 2025. Cristobal and Mirabal are regarded among the best OL developers nationally. The next year will be a critical one for the development of the Miami OL, with the potential to lose several starters entering the 2026 offseason.
Miami could target OL through the 2026 transfer portal. With Cristobal and Mirabal recruiting, Miami should continue to sign well sought-after OL and transfers. Miami should continue to be a destination for OL as long as Cristobal and Mirabal are with Miami.
