Forward Matthew Cleveland has been the only consistent player for Miami. Cleveland is averaging 14.3 PPG, 4.2 RPG and 1.1 APG this season and has scored at least 16 points in eight of the last night games. Miami needs a secondary scorer to have a chance to end the losing streak.

Miami is 1-7 on the road versus the spread. California is 5-5-1 at home versus the spread, but has covered in its last two games at Haas Pavilion. We predict California to win by double digits.
This season is trending to be the worst in the history of the Miami basketball program. That is difficult to do with some of the teams Miami had in the early 1990s. Miami has collapsed two seasons after making the Final Four.
