Stanford will play No. 7 Miami on Friday night without three projected starting offensive linemen, a starting-caliber receiver and its most productive pass rusher from Week 0.
Left tackle Niki Prongos, guard Simione Pale and center Aidan Kilstrom are out. Wide receiver Nico Brown and edge rusher Gabe Kaminski are also out. Kickoff is 9 p.m. Eastern at Stanford Stadium on ESPN.

Prongos started all 12 games at left tackle last season and is a projected early-round pick in the 2027 draft. Pale has 22 career starts at guard. Kilstrom, a Harvard transfer with 23 career starts, left the Hawaii game in the second half with a leg injury. Mejia has 27 career starts and is also out. Fisher Anderson, last year's starting center, started at right tackle against Hawaii and is expected to slide back to center.
Brown, a Yale transfer, had 71 catches for 1,085 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.
The Hurricanes remain a 23.5- to 24.5-point favorite. Miami is going to look to shut the door quick on Stanford. Miami should be able to call it a night early.
