The Miami basketball team travels to Stanford with its second seven-game losing streak this season and losses in 14 of their last 15 games. Miami's game at Stanford is the first on a two-game cross-country road trip that ends at California on Saturday night.

Stanford had one of its biggest wins in program history with a 72-71 victory at North Carolina on Saturday. The Cardinal have won three of their last four games. Stanford enters the game on Wednesday with a 12-6 overall record and is 4-3 and is tied for seventh with Florida State at 4-3 in the ACC.
