Miami leads the all-time series with Virginia Tech 26-15. The Hurricanes won the first 12 games in the series from 1953 through 1994. That included wins in the 1966 Liberty Bowl and the Peach Bowl after the 1981 season. Miami is 9-8 all-time in Blacksburg.
