Caleb Gaskins, one of the top prospects in the 2026 class and Miami Hurricanes basketball commit, has been named a McDonald's All American selection and will play in the showcase on March 31.

5-star SF Caleb Gaskins has been named a McDonald's All American
Gaskins, a Christopher Columbus High School standout and Melbourne, Fla., native, is listed as a 6-foot-9 forward. He is the second-highest rated recruit in Miami program history, per the 247Sports Composite, and is currently slotted as the No. 13 prospect by ESPN, No. 14 by Rivals and No. 20 by 247Sports.
Gaskins is the seventh Hurricane to earn McDonald's All-America honors, joining Tito Horford (1985), Steve Edwards (1992), Darius Rice (2000), Dewan Hernandez (2016), Lonnie Walker IV (2017) and Jalil Bethea (2024).
Gaskins averaged 13.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a junior at Columbus while helping lead the Explorers to a national championship. On the spring and summer circuit, he put up 15.7 points and 7.3 rebounds across 15 games on the Nike EYBL with Nightrydas Elite. At Peach Jam, he averaged 20.0 points and 10.2 rebounds while shooting nearly 60% inside the arc.
