Miami will play its first ACC game under Jai Lucas on either December 30 or 31 versus Pittsburgh. Wake Forest will host Miami on January 6 or 7 for the first road ACC game of the Lucas era, as the conference announced their basketball schedule on Tuesday.
Lucas brought in an entirely new roster for the 2025-26 season. Seven prospects in the 2025 class and six transfers make up the 2025-26 Miami basketball roster. Four transfers and true freshman Shelton Henderson are projected to be the starters for Miami in 2025-26.
Lucas signed the 21st-best 2025 transfer class and 16th-best class overall in the 247Sports 2025 composite rankings. Duke, largely in part due to Lucas as an assistant coach, signed the top-ranked 2025 class. Duke is the only team Miami does not play during the 2025-26 season.
Miami hosts Florida State on January 20 or 21 and plays in Tallahassee on February 24 or 25. Miami is at Boston College on February 7 and hosts the Eagles on February 28. Boston College and Florida State are the only opponents Miami will play twice during the 2025-26 regular season.
