Miami remained the hottest team in the ACC, clinching their fifth consecutive series with their 10th straight ACC win in a 10-3 win over North Carolina State on Saturday. Miami has won five straight series for the first time since 2016 and their 10-game ACC winning streak is the Hurricanes' first since 2014.

Miami took control early when a Dorian Gonzalez single scored Daniel Cuvet in the first inning. A Cuvet double scored Max Galvin and Gonzalez singled him home in the third to make it 3-0 after three innings. Miami broke the game completely open with a five-run fourth inning.

Miami scored runs in the fourth on a North Carolina State error and a bases-loaded walk by Cuvet, Gonzalez followed with a bases-loaded double to score Galvin and Jake Ogden. Tanner Smith added an RBI single, scoring Gonzalez to cap the five-run fifth and give Miami an 8-1 lead.

Cuvet and Nolan Johnson added RBI singles in the eighth to extend the Miami lead to 10-1. Cuvet continued his hot streak with three hits in three at-bats two runs scored and three RBIs. Gonzalez had three hits in four at-bats with a run scored and four RBIs. A.J. Ciscar allowed one unearned run on five hits with a walk and six strikeouts in 6.1 innings.

Ogden, Galvin and Fabio Peralta each had two hits for Miami. The top four hitters in the Miami batting order, Ogden, Galvin, Cuvet and Gonzalez, combined for 10 hits in 16 at-bats with four walks, eight runs scored and eight runs batted in. The Miami bullpen did enough to finish off the win.

Miami will go for the sweep on Sunday with a noon Eastern Daylight Time first pitch on ACC Network Extra. Florida International is at Miami in the Hurricanes' final 2025 midseason game on Wednesday night. Virginia will host Miami in a three-game series from Friday to Sunday next weekend.
