Miami 2025-26 ranking history
Miami will enter the NCAA Tournament with 25 wins and eight losses. The Hurricanes finished with 24 regular-season wins to tie a program record. Miami was ranked for the first time this season on March 2 when it was 22nd in the AP Top 25. The Hurricanes were out of the poll on March 9 and re-entered this week.
The March 2 ranking was the first time Miami was in the AP Top 25 since it was 24th in the AP Top 25 on December 11, 2023. Miami spent the first six weeks of the 2023-24 season in the rankings. As Jai Lucas said on Selection Sunday, the NCAA Tournament should be the first of many in his tenure. That should be true with the rankings as well.
