The Miami Hurricanes found out last week they are opening ACC play on Oct. 4 at Florida State. On Monday, the ACC announced the full 2025 conference schedule. Miami has the odd schedule of having a bye week before and after playing Florida State and finishing the season with two games in potentially cold weather.
Miami is off the weekend of Sept. 27, plays at Florida State on Oct. 4 and is off the weekend of Oct. 11. Following the second bye week, Miami hosts Louisville on Friday night Oct. 17 and Stanford on Oct. 25. Six of the first seven games for Miami in 2025 are at home.
Miami does not leave Florida until Nov. 1. SMU hosts Miami on Nov. 1. Under former Miami offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee, SMU has added several former Hurricanes to their roster over the last three seasons. SMU added former Miami offensive tackle Zion Nelson, running back Chris Johnson Jr. and quarterback Tyler Van Dyke for 2025.
Miami returns home on Nov. 8 to avenge its 2024 loss to Syracuse. The Orange matched Miami with a 10-3 record in 2025. Miami finishes its 2025 eight-game home schedule versus North Carolina State. North Carolina State beat Miami 20-6 in 2023.

A look at Miami football's complete 2025 schedule
Miami finishes its season with road games that could be in the cold. Virginia Tech hosts Miami on Nov. 22 and the Hurricanes are at Pittsburgh on Nov. 29. Miami beat Virginia Tech 38-34 on a controversial reversed hail mary on the final play of the game this past season. Pittsburgh beat Miami 42-16 in their last meeting in 2022.
Miami also has a history of having tough games at Pittsburgh. The Panthers ended Miami's undefeated season in 2017 with a 24-14 win the day after Thanksgiving. Other than ending the season with consecutive road games in what will likely be cold weather, the schedule is very favorable for Miami and Mario Cristobal.
